Thank you for your interest in supporting the DeLand High School Jazz Ensemble 1! Our band has been invited to perform at the JEN (Jazz Educators Network) National Jazz Festival in New Orleans, Louisiana. This prestigious event will allow our students to perform on a national stage and work with renowned jazz musicians. The purposed of the Masquerade Dinner is to raise money to help these hard-working student musicians with the cost of traveling to this event.
The event will feature live music performed by the DHS Jazz 1 and Jazz Combo, as well as a full menu dinner (see below), and a silent auction. Live music and silent auction will begin at 6:30pm with dinner being served at 7:00pm. The silent auction will end at 8:30pm and winners will be announced before the event concludes at 9:00pm. (You must be present to win.) The theme for the night is "New Orleans Masquerade," so please wear your favorite mask, mardi gras beads, purple/gold/green, and celebrate with us! This is event is being hosted by Murph's Patio Bar & Grill (1431 Orange Camp Rd, DeLand - in the Victoria Commons shopping area). We appreciate their support in providing such a beautiful space and delicious menu!!! Tickets are limited to 150 and priced as follows:
